Iggy Is More Than Predictable In Boston

Normally, Iggy's dribble flows from his mouth, on air during the show. While voting for the caption contest, I came across this nugget of wisdom that Lieutenant Lemming included in a list of predictions on the Dennis and Callahan producers' page.

"Health Care reform will not pass. There is too much opposition from the republicans. The GOP doesn’t want Obama to succeed with ANYTHING so no compromise will be reached and no hands will be extended from the dying political party."

Riddle me this Iggy. Obama is in the white house, the Democrats control the House 256-178 (one current vacancy), and will soon control the Senate by a margin of 60-40, just as soon as Coup DeVille crowns Ted Bundy's - I mean Ted Kennedy's (sorry, somtimes I get my murderers confused) replacement. Tell us exactly how "the dying political party" can stop either socialized medicine or anything else your messiah wants. Once again, you show the world what a fraud and fool you are.

The truth is that Democrats know that Obama's plan is a recipe for disaster. Even the Kerrys, Clintons, Reids and Pelosis of the world know this. They know that socialized medicine, like socialism in general, has not worked anywhere it has been tried, and that it will not work here. Of course, facts meaning nothing to liberals, especially when those facts stand in the way of their dream of a unified, Huxley-like, socialist world. Think about that folks; they know that this is going to screw Americans, and they still are trying to ram it down our throats.

The Democrats also know that the majority of Americans are against this latest power grab by your savior. Unlike the left-wing moonbats from safely moonbat districts and states, blue-dog Democrats would face losing their seats should they vote to sell out America. That, Iggy, is why Obamacare is in trouble.

You Can Count On Iggy To Lie On WEEI

This morning's Headlines segment ended up being completely dominated by the discussion of Jimmy Carter's outrageous claim that the overwhelming majority of people who are against Obama's socialist policies are so because he is black. Not being satisfied with being the worst president in the 20th century, Carter decided to add race-baiter and fool to his resume.

As Gerry pointed out, his statement would have us believe that the millions of people upset over Obama's policies would have no problem if they were the policies of a white, socialist president. As any sane person realizes, a president Kerry, Gore or Hillary would be garnering the same anger from the millions of Americans who are upset with the attempts to socialize all aspects of America.

That is why between 1.25 and 2 million hard-working, honest Americans marched on Washington earlier this week. The estimates vary, but Iggy's claim of 60,000 was a lie. You can read The Huffington Post all you want Iggy, it does not make what they publish true. The true numbers have frightened the left, and the elite media, and they are trying their best to trivialize and marginalize both the protesters themselves and the numbers in which they gathered.

Our lefty lemming also took great umbrage at people comparing Obama's policies to those of the Nazis. The truth hurts, doesn't it, Sir Spouts-a-Lot? The comparisons of Obama's policies to those of the National Socialist German Worker's Party, are not as far off as Iggy would have you believe. Like the left in America today, the Nazis also believed in government control of the economy, government control of individual workers with respect to where they could work and how much money they could make, the elimination of private firearms ownership, and the euthanasia of those individuals deemed by government guidelines to be not worth the cost to the state (see Obamacare).

If it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck . . .

Beacon Hill's Motto: Do As I Say, Not As I Do

As reported in the Boston Herald, Democrat Michael J. Rodrigues was caught stocking up on low-price, sales tax-free alcohol in New Hampshire over the weekend. So what's the big deal? Nothing, for the average person. The average, real American despises paying taxes of any kind. This may come as a surprise to some, but a hatred for taxes is what caused the American Revolution - a fact sometimes left out of history classes in an effort to ensure important facts such as the details of Kwanzaa and why Western Civilization is the root of all the world's problems are covered.

But Mr. Rodrigues is no average person. He's one of the beautiful people. One of the people who knows what is best for us, and voted to increase the state income tax by 25%. As many (including myself) predicted, the increase in the sales tax would simply make it more feasible for people to head north to make purchases, leading to less revenue being collected, and more Massachusetts jobs lost as businesses on the brink would be pushed over the edge. I just never dreamed that one of the very people responsible for this ill-conceived action would be caught making a run for the border!

So, caught red-handed and betrayed by his "Everyone look at me, I'm an important person!" state representative license plate, how did he respond to someone asking if he was on personal or official business? "Mind your own business.” In this case, that's arrogantese for "Get out of my way, you nobody, lest I use my power and connections to make your life miserable." In an online interview with The Standard-Times in New Bedford, he then went on to blame the incident on - wait for it - “Republican demagoguery.” That's right folks, the old tried and true "vast right-wing conspiracy" defense.

He then later said in the interview that: “Unfortunately, I think that’s why the Republican Party is in such bad shape in Massachusetts,” Rodrigues is quoted as saying. “The electorate here is smart enough to figure out what they’re up to.” Well, I can see at least two things factually incorrect in his statement. First, the Republican Party is non-existent in the People's Republic of Massachusetts because the Democrats are in bed with both the public and private unions who buy Democrats with campaign funds and "recommendations" to their members regarding for whom they should vote. The left-wing moonbats of places like Cambridge aside, Democrats could never win elections without these "blue collar" voters, as even in the PRM, the percentage of moonbats is under 50%.

The second factually incorrect statement, is that "the electorate here is smart". It isn't. If it was, it would not continually vote these Democrat hypocrites and criminals into office. The people of his district should remember that when they re-elect him in 2010.
